First character through pre-searing, the day GW came out. Pre-searing is kind of symbolic for those simpler times, probably why so many people like it.

Definitely playing the January BWE.. my first one, at that. I had no clue what I was doing, but I made a Me/W. Weird, ain't it? I don't even have a mesmer atm. Then, I made a Ranger and atm, my ranger is picking up dust..
Another is the last BWE before release and the fireworks spectacular in Ascalon D1.. a lot of shouting, screaming, but it was good fun. Got me hooked. Woo. |

--Presear Ascalon. I wasn't too sure about buying GW, thought I'd just try it and then I loaded into pre-sear and thought wahey, good decision.
--The fugliness of post-sear ascalon, when i actually saw that the whole landscape was the same (ie same map underneath) just wrecked (yes, I'm slow on the uptake) --Doing Villainy of Galrath with some random swedish people. My first really nice PUG, leading to my first nice guild  --A few GvG wins against really good guilds. Beating EW back when they were good, ditto to RenO, not getting rolled by WM back when they were No.1 (took it to VoD and got rolled then instead :s) and a few others which were just such a great feeling to win. --And a whole load of really close gvgs...crazy VoD zergs....getting to new guild rank highs (r7 and r12 with the two best guilds) --First Drok's run. I was so impressed the runner could do it. --Meeting nice people in RA and getting glad points. It does happen sometimes! --First HoH win (back when it was HoH). Actually, any HoH win (I don't win often...or ever play it anymore) --Actually, everything about the first time through pre-sear. Especially the catacombs. everything...i must say everything in my memory bank is my favorite
most though would be getting 15k armor for my war i think...my first set lol..and then getting FoW helm for him.. soon to be FoW armor for my Dervish!! |
